A small, irregularly shaped tree to about 7.5 m tall with leathery, narrowly lance-shaped leaves clustered at the ends of the thick branches. Clusters of white flowers with a small yellow centre and a sweet scent open at the branch tips through much of the year. Like all plumerias, every part of the plant exudes a milky white sap when cut, and plants are easily raised from cured stem cuttings.
