AlsoHedge bamboo, Chinese dwarf bamboo, Clumping bamboo, Fernleaf bamboo (cultivar), Multiplex Fernleaf (common name missing)
A clumping evergreen bamboo with a graceful, arching, fountain-like form and thin culms. The small, narrow, medium to dark green leaves are densely clustered at the branch tips, which in the 'Fernleaf' cultivar gives the foliage a fern-like look. It is widely planted as a hedge or privacy screen and rarely flowers, perhaps only once in a decade.
