Langsat

Langsat is a medium-sized tree of the mahogany family, grown across Southeast Asia for its fruit. Small creamy-yellow flowers form in clusters directly on the trunk and old branches, and are followed by bunches of round or oval brownish-yellow fruits with leathery skin and translucent, segmented, juicy flesh. Langsat types have thin skin with a milky, sticky sap and slightly sour flesh; duku types have thicker skin, no latex and sweeter flesh.
