Unidentifiable from the record. 'Fornio' is not a recognised common or scientific name. It may be a mis-hearing of Phormium (New Zealand flax, whose dark-leaved cultivars are sold as a 'long dark grass'), or of fonio (Digitaria exilis), a West African cereal, but neither can be confirmed without seeing the plant. Left unresolved rather than guessed.
